Have you been to Happy Valley Halloween House? Then share photos of your experience!

Each October the Halloween season begins as the house on the corner of Spanish Bay transforms into the Grand Ship Ferdinand, a real life pirate ship complete with pirates, interactive scenes, and live-firing smoke ring cannons. Come enjoy the fun and whimsy of our pirate crew on board and on land. If you’re lucky, you may even be able to come aboard and test your cannon firing skills! Family friendly and fun for all ages. Whether you are 2 or 82, you’ll enjoy checking out the different scenes aboard the Grand Ship Ferdinand, as well as on land at the Spanish Bay dock. We build and create all of the props ourselves, including our real life drinking pirates. We enjoy coming up with new scenes each year, adding to the fun of years’ past designs. Make sure to come by every year to see what is new!

Hours of Operation: The ship docks October 1st and scenes begin going up the first full weekend in October with substantial completion by mid October. Then, new scenes are developed and new pieces are introduced into the scenes daily. Unlike a traditional haunted house with tours, our display is open to the public at all times and completely viewable from the sidewalk or street. Visitors are always welcome to view the scenes any time of day or evening by walking on the sidewalks or viewing from the warmth of their car. All scenes are electrified and lit at night starting at sunset. If you see any of the build staff outside, feel free to say hello. We love meeting the community! They may even offer you a guided tour of the porch - if you ask like a pirate!

The day before, on, and after Halloween the Pirates of Spanish Bay arrive and the display is enhanced with holograms, smoke cannons, sound effects, and of course the Pirates of Spanish Bay at the following times:
